Dolphin Royal Swim in Cozumel
Chankanaab National Marine Park is the perfect setting for your swimming with dolphins in the Caribbean. The park offers incredible snorkeling, diving, restaurants, and a beautiful beach, in addition to an unforgettable Royal Swim with dolphins.
This exciting program really gets you up close and personal with these friendly marine mammals. You will start with a briefing about the dolphins and an explanation of the activities you will experience. You will then enter the water on a submerged platform from which you will be able to interact with the dolphins, including the very popular dolphin kiss photo.
From the platform, you will proceed into deeper water (life jackets required) for a speedy dorsal tow ride through the water, holding tightly onto their fins. Next is what most guests consider the highlight of their time with the dolphins - the foot push. You will be propelled through the water by the dolphins as they push you on the bottoms of your feet!
Each session is one hour, with 30 minutes of swim time. Group size is limited to 10 people to ensure that you have a very personal experience. Professional photographers will capture these magical moments for you on video and photo.(available for purchase)
Please Note: The park admission is included in your dolphin tour. Guests in your party who will not be participating in the dolphin activity (including children under 8 years old who are unable to participate in this activity) should book the "An Adventure in Chankanaab" tour in order to enter the park. Guests can arrive at any time and make use of the facilities at the park. Your swim with dolphins in Cozumel begins at the time on your ticket. Transportation to and from the park is not included, so you can come and go when you please.

Special Instructions
We recommend wearing a swimsuit under comfortable clothing and shoes. A towel, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen (for after the dolphin portion) is recommended. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins.
Restrictions
The MINIMUM AGE to participate is 8 years old. Children at least 8 years old OR over 3 feet 11 inches must be accompanied by one participating adult (18 years or older) per child. Children at least 10 years old OR over 4 feet 7 inches tall can participate on their own (with no other children) when counted as an adult at booking. Children under 8 years old who are unable to participate in this tour may book a different dolphin tour or the "Adventure in Chankanaab" tour to gain entry to the park. Pregnant women may not participate in this tour. All participants should be competent swimmers. Each person is required to wear a life jacket. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins. The instructors have the final say on what can and cannot be worn in the water with the dolphins. For security reasons, personal cameras are not allowed in the water, nor in the program area. A professional photographer will be on hand to take pictures, which will be available for purchase.

Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean.
