Safe and loads of fun, your self-drive mini-speedboat is the ideal way to spend part of your day in St. Kitts; no boating experience necessary!
Designed for double occupancy, each mini speedboat is an exhilarating, fun experience for a couple of friends or a couple. If you are just 1 person we will do our best to accommodate you, perhaps pairing with another single, or giving you a boat of your own if available.
After a short drive, arrive at Frigate Bay Beach where your personal watercraft is waiting. After a safety demonstration, climb aboard and open up the throttle as you skim over the water along the sheltered southeast peninsula. On this St. Kitts tour, follow your guide and access small and secluded areas where only these boats can go.
Stop to snorkel in the crystal clear waters and view the rich marine life. Your snorkel gear is supplied and you can explore the underwater treasures of Ballast Bay.
Perhaps stop at a tiny beach inaccessible by land or by larger boats, before heading back to Frigate Bay Beach for refreshments.
Then, either re-board your included land transport back to your ship or chill out on the beach and return independently later.

The minimum age to participate is 6 years old and the minimum age to drive a boat is 16 years old. Guests must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol. The maximum weight in total for each boat is 420 lbs. Guests must be fit enough to enter/leave the boat. This tour is NOT wheelchair accessible. Children must wear a life jacket at all times.

Mr. Miller is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Abercrombie & Kent, the World's leading luxury travel company. In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises.
